Why are we joining the equals campaign?
“Study shows that a diverse workforce ensures that we have a wide breadth of perspectives at the table when developing ideas and solving problems.” It is important to stimulate diversity in teambuilding. The equals campaign is an excellent initiative to empower women in the workfield and show next generation leaders that diversity is the way to go.
As a promotor for logistic, technical & nautical talent in the Port industry i strive for diversity. M/F/X, junior/senior, religious/non-religious, People with different cultural backgrounds. Every talent brings value to a team. And the Port is looking for great teammembers. I hope that many more role models from the Port industry will stand up and show the immense diversity in our workfield. And hopefully inspire others to join our industry.
