About

“I am a chemical engineer developing technology solutions for the Energy Transition, such as Sustainable Aviation Fuel and others.”

Why do you think is important that Role Models need to be visible?

“Visibility of role models can help de-mystify a “stuffy” image of an engineer or a scientist as someone detached from the world working on something boring and very-very complex in a dusty lab. Technology is everywhere in our lives, it’s a fast-moving and dynamic space, and there are many exciting and important challenges – think of the Energy Transition! – and people working on new technology developments are very diverse. It may seem complex at first sight, just like a foreign language seems incomprehensible at first hearing, but as you work on it, step by step, you make it your own.”
