Why do you think is important that Role Models need to be visible?
“Role models can be an important source of inspiration and motivation for people. I never had any role models that I could identify with when I was younger so i find it really important that there should be a focus on role models of color, especially woman of color, simply because they provide a tangible example of what is possible, and can help break down barriers by demonstrating that people who look like them have succeeded in different field.
Additionally, having diverse role models can also help to challenge negative stereotypes and promote greater understanding and representation in different industries and fields.”
