In 2022 female founded Startups received just 0.6% of all growth capital in Netherlands. That’s even less than the 1% they received in 2021. It’s irrelevant to me whether the gender gap is a result of not enough female founders, or prejudices in the funding landscape. In my view the solution starts with not accepting the status quo. As a Start- & Scale-up Banker I commit myself to an entrepreneurial ecosystem where we strive for greater inclusion.
