About
I am originally from Egypt. I have a bachelor degree in computer science and masters of science in digital business from Amtserdam University. I have been working in Tech since 2005 and started as a software developer in the telecommunications field in Egypt. Since then I have been working in multiple companies in several industries and within different positions such as tech lead, project manager, project leader and engineering manager. In 2017 I moved to the Netherlands to live and work together with my husband and 3 kids. In the Netherlands I worked in the financial industry, retail and ecommerce. I have have been leading and managing multicultural teams for 7 years which exposed me to many cultures and experiences. Currently I am glad that I work at Bol.com leading the engineering team of Fraud & Risk in Fintech domain working with the very talented people.
What or Who inspired you to pursue your chosen career?
My mum is my role model and inspiration as she is a working mum for almost 44 years leading peaople and managing multiple departments in her role. My sister and my brother are working in Tech since 2000 and they were the reason I chose this career.
