SETTLY

‘We are Settly, a value driven HR Tech start-up on a mission to redefine the relocation experience for the new generation. It’s our core belief that everyone deserves to feel at home. No matter where you come from, what you believe in, gender you identify with, or how long you’re staying. This is something that we strive for every day by helping people move across the world, and feel at home in their new country, and by creating an inclusive and diverse work place. For us equality is foundational to achieving our mission, and we are proud of our highly diverse team, 27 nationalities and majority female (>50%) across all levels. Raising awareness around equality is therefore not an option, but a natural thing to do. To make sure everyone has the same opportunity to make the most out of their lives. That everyone can feel at home. No matter where they were born, what they look like or what they believe in. We are honoured to be part of this campaign.’

About

”My name is Marieke, and I’m the CEO and Co-Founder of Settly, a digital relocation solution enabling companies to attract and retain international talent.  I always had the dream to one day start my own company. When I became a mum 6 years ago, finding meaning and purpose became even more important. So why not? Let’s try and build a company I would love to work for myself, something that combines my passion, and everything I learned along the way… Settly was born. ”

Why do you think is important that Role Models need to be visible?

“You can’t be what you can’t see. I grew up in a male-dominated world with few female role models to look up to. I would like nothing more than for my daughter and all other kids across the world to be able to dream big and become who they want to become. Having important Role Models is essential, for it shows you what is possible. “
