“Over the past thirty years, I have built a successful career in the tech industry.I started as a software engineer and quickly worked my way up to become a manager in 2005. By 2013, I was leading multiple innovation teams and was responsible for larger domains. Currently, I serve as the Engineering Director of the Advertising, Marketing, and Shopping Teams at bol.com, where I work closely with the Product Director to make sure that we are realizing the strategic goals in this domain. Building a reliable platform, delivering on our commitments and increasing the innovation power of the teams is a top priority for me.”
What advice would you give to your younger self?
“My advice to my younger self would be to worry less about what others think of you, don’t let that distract you, remain confident in your abilities, don’t be afraid to fail because that’s how you learn, and never give up on your dreams. You have what it takes to succeed and make a meaningful impact in the tech industry.”
