“I am the CEO & Co-founder of StellarUp, a Dutch tech scale-up whose mission is to improve diversity and foster equity and inclusivity through knowledge sharing and community building. During my 23 years in International HR, my goal has always been to build diverse environments where people-first cultures can thrive and flourish. I now dedicate my life to giving others the opportunity to experience the power of knowledge sharing and community building.”
What or Who inspired you to pursue your chosen career?
“I’ve had many great mentors and role models during my career but two people stand out. A woman called Tracy who I worked for over 20 years ago, encouraged me to reconsider a career in HR. Also one of my closest friends and biggest cheerleader, Cristene, has always encouraged me to keep believing in myself and to stay true to my values. I won’t be here today without these two women… but can also not forget the many many other amazing women I have in my life today. “
